Re Nish Kumar. Was it the same one I read about or a another one? He hosted a Lords Taverners do a while back but when he started doing jokes about Trump and Boris he got told bluntly 'We don't do politics here.' I think a few bread rolls were sent his way. He said afterwards it was fair enough, iirc. Maybe his repertoire is a bit limited then? (to Lefty batcrap
