You're so sweet.

Lovey Ah shucks, mam... Lovey

Quote: Skibbington von Skubber @ March 16, 2008, 3:19 PM

Oi mate! Are you well c**ted, or what?

What the bloody, great Alsatian haemorrhoid do you mean by "What the f**k does that mean?"

It is very simple and obvious. The language is modern English.

We have what we believe we can have. If you want it and believe you can have it, then it is yours.

If you believe you cannot have it, then you won't have it.

If a person wants to overcome their dyslexia, then they can. If they believe they cannot, then they won't.

Ah, thanks for the explanation! There was I thinking it was the kind of soundbite that on first glance seems quite clever but on examination is actually a meaningless succession of words. You don't write political speeches do you? This sort of tripe can make a lot of money. The more profound it sounds the better, as long as there's a empty shell at the heart. Political gold!

Cheers for the "well c**ted" remark too. I assume that is modern English as well? Difference is I understood that one fully!

On the plus side, "dyslexia" is an anagram of "daily sex."
Though dyslexics may have trouble verifying that.

Ah, thanks for the eloquent yet straight-to-the-point explanation! There I was thinking (a first for me!) that it was the kind of soundbite that on first glance seems sort of clever but on closer examination is actually a meaningful and profound succession of words. You don't write award-winning political speeches, do you? This sort of well-honed & slow-cooked tripe can make a lot of money for you---and I know it will! The more profound it sounds, the better, and you certainly have the knack for it. Political gold! Genius! It's f**ken scary!!!!!

Cheers for the "well c**ted" remark too. I assume that is modern English as well? Difference is, I understood that one fully!

You're very welcome. We knew you would understand and latch onto the naughty phrase. We knew you would open your hole for the universe and let the love shine in. ;)

It isn't that clever to add bits to my quote, though I'm pleased you think I'm worth it.

I understand that you woke up believing you could be something today, and the thread title obviously attracted you.

You are most definitely worth it.

I woke up today feeling happy to be alive and totally convinced I was going to have a fun afternoon.

I am still happy and still having fun!

No going back once you've begun.
"Welcome to the Hotel California..."

Back to the sketch.

Yeah it was good Sootyj. I love the concept but it comes hot on the heels of Wayne Lewis' piece about Zombies so it lacked the originality it would have had if it was posted some other time. Having said that the concept, of people being open about being arseholes, is very funny. May I be so bold as to suggest a possible collaboration on a series of sketches/episodes between your goodself and wayne? :)

Hmm the mock documentary is hugely unoriginal. But then it's unoriginal like fish and chips. If something works, then why not do a tribute. I mean Oasis sound like the Beatles, but I like the Beatles so that's cool with me. Mock documentaries go back to Swift, and some would say Chaucer.

I think this was my pop at the whole PC debate. The interesting thing for me is, it doesn't reflect my own beliefs at all.

Yeah I know its unoriginal i'm just saying it lacked the impact as I read a very similar piece recently. Thats all. Waynes piece even has ZA Zombies Anonymous.

I'm a big fan of SootyJ and his enormously prodigious comedy loins' outpourings.

Filth.

I wish I was half as prolific. Comedy sketch wise.

Just like to add that you've upped your game me thinks Sooty the last couple have been Wangdoodlers [In a good way :) ]

Glad to hear it. I'm just glad if I'm dong better at the old non-topicals.

Hope no one minds a very rare bump for me.
