Fooey, yes.
Great combining of two subjects in just a few words.
Great theme tune.
Absolutely love the new picture.
My picture?
The lockdown restrictions have been eased slightly but, even so, there must be a great many people who are becoming more and more fed up with being imprisoned for what might be an unlimited period of time without having been convicted, charged, arrested or even suspected of having committed any offence against the law.
Accordingly, it's perhaps not surprising that a group calling itself the "UK Freedom Movement" is calling for people to attend a number of mass gatherings this coming Saturday.
According to reports, posters have been circulated all over Britain calling for people to get together at noon on Saturday for a picnic, some music and some fun.
The intended locations are Edinburgh, Sheffield, Nottingham, Cardiff, London, Barnstable, Southampton, and Plymouth.
It will be interesting to see how many people turn up.
I'm particularly looking forward to seeing a 21st-century Jack Regan approach an uncountable multitude in Hyde Park, shouting "You're nicked!"
Interesting times lie just ahead.

On the upside, at least our brain-dead twats won't be armed.
Take a moment to look up the "UK Freedom Movement".
Fascists essentially.
I'm noticing a marked corollary between rabid Brexiteers and the "End the Lockdown" looneys.

Speaking as a non-Brexiteer (rabid or otherwise), I would point out that there is a vast difference between those advocating the ending of the "lockdown", which is a legitimate point of view, shared by many scientists and professionals, not to mention countries, (all of whom clearly cannot be said to be "looneys") and recognised by the UK Government as an essential ultimate goal, and those advocating the immediate abolition of "social distancing" and the promoting of illegal mass gatherings, which may well be argued is "looney".

Yes.
The one with the green background.
Now that Mr Johnson has become so disappointing, does anyone agree with me that Sir Queere Starman and Angelcake Rainbow should cross the house?
OMG - Could it be caused by radioactive nuclear plants?

Very funny character

...Sorry should have read "..these lockdown loonies" ie the kind of people planning these illegal gatherings eg "UK Freedom Movement" - who are rabidly pro-Brexit.
Like the dim-witted Yanks protesting the lockdown, they confuse Liberty with Libertarianism.
But as I said, thankfully ours won't be armed.
Certainly not with any cogent arguments, anyway
And Billy, I thought you were a Brexiteer - just one who decided not to vote?
Not that it matters now.

You are right - I did not vote (being of the opinion that those with a long term future in this country - eg those under 60 or even 55 - should decide the issue). So, having not voted, I do not consider myself a Brexiteer (nor, for that matter, a Remainer). I did vote "no" back in 1975 but a lot of irreversible water has passed under the bridge since then and I have no confidence in today's MPs to govern the country themselves.
But, as you say, let's not open that can of worms again. We have a new one now!
"Police chiefs fear vigilantes will attack city dwellers visiting countryside beauty spots after easing of lockdown rules," says an article in today's paper.
I have no doubt that those fears are well-founded and, while by no means supporting vigilante violence against people or property, I can understand the perceived need of those country dwellers to tell droves of strangers that they are not welcome.
Are these country dwellers really under significant threat of disease and death from city-based visitors or is the risk next door to non-existent?
I don't know but what I certainly do know is that I wouldn't trust the government to give me a truthful answer to that question.

The disappointing thing about rural folk these days is that 99% of them are so bland they could easily be living in cities. If it is that lot who are getting uppity, my view is that they should get back into their self-isolating houses. If on the other hand it is the 1% or less who still sound like Eddie Grundy and look like they are one of the Wurzels, then I could on paper fully support tractor wars leading to an agrarian revolution. This is not an overtly political thing in me. I just find the picture of bloody-minded straw chewing stereotypes in pastoral scenes of tranquillity and deep beauty hugely reassuring.

Was the article in the Daily Mail? Because a depressingly high number of articles referenced on the BCG are from that awful publication.
The day all tabloid newspapers become extinct can't come to soon
Waste of good paper and ink
It's either soft porn/comics full of celebrities and tits
Or right wing crap run by billionaires who whinge about the government until its election time then they can't praise the tories enough
Do a News of the World - and piss off
