Thank you. Cath's a great song. It's a little over American in vocal for British ears - but his distinctiveness and hint of emotion help to carry it. As for the musicianship/production it is wonderfully atmospheric. It's that wistful driving out thing - part remoteness, part togetherness, time mysterious - which I like in a lot in records from 1980 to about 2008.

Cheers! I didn't know "Cath". I only got into them big time in the last couple of months, mainly the album "Plans" which I think is fantastic. I play it pretty much every day. Beatles level melodies hooked me first, and now I'm paying more attention to the lyrics. I also have "Transatlanticism" which I listen to when I want a change from "Plans".
So that leaves me with another eight studio albums to check out. But what's the rush?!
Ben comes across as a pretty cool dude in his live streams - chatty in a relaxed way. They're a nice relaxing way to wind down at night.
(In contrast to some of the more manic moments in that Radiohead gig.)
The Stones just keep on rolling!
Don't forget Otway will be live on Facebook tomorrow evening.
Finally overcome my obsession with shitty Wings singles. Letting go, and what's wrong with that? I've had enough.

Live streams on FB have been a bit dodgy sometimes. YT is much more reliable. This one's also on Twitch thankfully.

Otway played the 6 songs with the most votes by his fans.
Next week he'll be playing 6 pointless songs. Sure to be popular.
They played this 1920s recording of Bull Doze Blues by Henry Thomas on a local wireless station this morning. Will be recognised by all aficionados of late 60s music and attendees of Woodstock. And of interest to fans of the blues:
Radiohead are at it again.
