Is this just for hospitals? Probably lots more not on the official list.

That seems to be the case. Apparently people dying at home or in care homes, aren't being counted.
32 more coronavirus-related deaths among the Smurfs were recorded in the past 24 hours.
The Smurfs' coronavirus death toll has risen to 51.
Papa Smurf, still being criticized for his initially lackluster response to the pandemic, has proposed the evil wizard Gargamel be released from custody so that he can assist with work on development of a vaccine. Gargamel was arrested earlier this month for allegedly inappropriate behavior toward Smurfette. Since then, more than a dozen female cartoon characters have raised similar abuse allegations against the wizard. Smurfette's lawyer, Lawyer Smurf, said Papa Smurf's call for Gargamel's release showed he was "hopelessly out of smurf with reality".

How many Smurfs have fried in the raging Chernobyl inferno and is it unsafe again to eat radioactive Welsh sheep?
I only ask because I needed to find an excuse to send my warmest condolences to anyone who in the last four weeks of lockdown has lost love ones to anything other than coronavirus.

If you mean the Chernobyl disaster of 1986, the only Smurf fatalities were Afro Smurf and Astro Smurf, who were on a sightseeing tour at the time. In the recent fires of 2020, there were no Smurf casualties, although Music Smurf sustained a melted organ.

Yes, yes, the one that is blazing now and about to tear through and blow up the contaminated Chernobyl plant and isn't being mentioned in the news because coronavirus is a scary invisible nuclear bomb. Other than in Germany where it has miraculously been cured by nicking all the money off Greece and Italy and realising through testing that it's the flu, then not telling anyone else. Because they want to win World War 2 again as there is currently no football. That Chernobyl fire.
I just wondered as one Smurf might be able to tell us if Mrs Merkel was sacrificed on the cross so that we all should live.
My mates sister (64) had her machine turned off today, up until yesterday there was talk of bringing her out of the coma, but she has taken a turn for the worse and may be brain dead. Her daughter is fighting better but is still on a ventilator. The dad /husband is a paramedic and is blaming himself. He is in 'Self Isolation' and can not be by their sides My mate lives in London but can't go to be with the family and he is distraught.
I told you this as some times you sort of drop your guard or over estimate your mortality, I know I do. So this is a timely reminder that this thing is real and scary and its killing people as we speak.

Obviously sorry to hear that news but every other bit of news reads like an asylum.
Sweden's rate better than the UK's and lockdown having no clear impact on death rates.
Nightingale and other hospitals largely left empty.
Millions paid to China for defective equipment that can't be used.
Police cram in with crowds on Westminster Bridge to clap the NHS.
National Grid to pay wind farms not to produce as over supply could cause blackouts.
Fruit picking Roumanian slave labour being shipped in so that millions of Brits can sit on their arses.

My condolences to your friend.
All the talk of "it's only one in whatever" rings hollow when someone you love is the one.

So sorry to hear this, Teddy. I know a few people who've had it, but only one had to be hospitalised and he's now at home., fine. Yes, we take life for granted, especially when you're young and think you're invincible, which is probably why some young folk aren't being as careful as they should.
If anything I feel rather selfish as it has scared me into upping my game when it should have been up in the first place. I wear gloves when I shop and I keep my distance and wash my hands and the shopping, but now I'm looking at 'Anything' else I should be doing/

Yes - try to keep your anxiety levels down as that kills 180 thousand people in the UK every year by the Government's own figures. That's just under one third of all UK deaths annually.
It's worrying to think that when the official lockdown ends, that doesn't mean that the danger is over: it simply means that people who wish to expose themselves more frequently to varying degrees of danger will be free to do so.
As far as the danger goes, when this lockdown ends, a lot of people will think it's all over.
They'll be wrong.
