Re:Horse's list.
It always amazes me how much I can admire the musical talents of others but never actually want to listen to them ever again.
NB: The men in Brotherhood of Men were frillier than the girls.

It's a 'frill every second 'ere. :)

I am so pleased to read your comments as it seems you have got my drift a bit.

We chuck 'em in and we see what patterns they reveal, if anyfing.

Oh what joy. Cool

Today's pattern involved a specific reference to the Brotherhood - and that woman had a voice - but the sense is that it had wider application so that there was an unstated other worldly admiration for our Lady Theremin from the other side.

The video is a fake that's been circulating for years, but the use of Dubuque in the church's name would point to the state of Iowa.

I've taken all the McCartney references out of my act. And what's wrong with that? I'd like to know.

Never been too keen on Russell Brand's songwriting personally. I thought it was ok when he did Revolver but went a bit downhill with The White Album. But this is sodding boombastic. The best pop song of the 21st Century sung by a lass with real eyes and more. I'm putting today's eight track on hold to raise the nation now that Her Maj isn't what she was:

Is that what young persons call a banger?

Wave

Brilliant.

Totally brilliant.

I didn't know the word until about 18 moths ago. You get it a lot in sports circles when they try to talk music and mostly haven't got a clue. Love 'em. I hate - hate - the ads but I have a lot of time for Talksport. Goldstein and Cundy are wind up merchants - mainly very funny after 10mph GMT - and they sync with my laddishness. Then it goes to Paul Ross - I know, a funny sort of personal history and the brother of whom many of us dislike but he is good on radio. With him on to my bow tie Reithian strand. His producer, young Sam Stevens, is just fantastic. I'm egging him on to be the Mr Beeb of the future every time I listen. Bangers are so good both the lads and the unexpected and formal one have both discussed.

Comedy

For my all time biggest comedy hero, Tony Hancock, who so sadly let it all get to him.

And what an absolutely amazing song that is for our so sad "coronavirus" times.

Always the unpredictable - but we Londin people do Londin.. :D

Isn't he a carer for his wife?It must be extra tough for him right now.

Yes indeed. I understand that well and appreciate what you have to say. But he counts pebbles on his beach. If that hasn't been included officially as exercise, he needs my counselling therapy. We are very close actually. When no one else was posting, we used to stalk each other without any sense of threat except on his part in dressing gowns during the night.

I love that man, the daft paranoid twerp.
:)

I've never owned a dressing gown, slippers or a pipe.

The 90's were my time for music and comedy..
