"Sadly, Boris's groping isn't an issue for most voters," says Janet Street-Porter.

It's a funny old world, isn't it?

Show me a rich, powerful, famous man who hasn't groped few women (or men) in his time and I'll show you somebody who many people would accuse of wasting his wealth, power and fame.

Come to think of it, show me any man who hasn't groped few women (or men) in his time and I'll show you somebody who many people would accuse of wasting his life.

I, of course, am not one of those many people.

I can't think of many people who on their death bed will regret the fact they weren't a sex offender.

"June Sarpong, 42, has been appointed the BBC's new 'creative diversity director'."

Yes, she's the new creative diversity director but don't be fooled - there isn't an old creative diversity director or even a previous creative diversity director.

She is the only creative diversity director the BBC has ever had.

Well, the invention of such a job certainly shows "creativity" and June herself is a shining example of "diversity" among BBC presenters and her no-doubt-considerable salary will be paid "direct" from licence payers' money - so everything appears to make sense so far.

Let's hope June's efforts will be busting out all over our living rooms very soon!

Emma Willis arrived at Piccadilly Station, Manchester today on her way to work on The Circle - Channel 4's reality TV show set in a block of flats.

At 43 and without make-up, am I right in thinking she looks even better offscreen than she does on?

Anyone who goes around telling people they are wasting their life are probably hypocrites.

Why?

As you all know, I'm no fan of the monarchy but the latest nonsense beggars belief. The reporters involved need a good kick up their arses. Hope they're found guilty of a crime.

Good to see a load of people called Nigel gathering together to promote the name but saddened I couldn't see anyone dressed up as Neil Pye. I like the name as it reminds of of the song by XTC. And Nigel from Eastenders which in-turn reminds me of Warlock from The Young Ones. Or the burglar from Bottom. "Gosh, you've got a big bottom".

This reminds me of a teacher in secondary school who was called Nigel and was so gorgeous we all lusted after him. When I say 'lusted' we were simple in those days and only had visions of a manly chest rather than any other manly bits.

When I was young, I used to think girls were just effeminate boys. Laughing out loud

The other link redirects to the .co.uk URL and a search of that site doesn't list anything Star Warsy. I really like the roaster and it reminds me of Terminator 2. Not long until you can create your own designs.

Not that effeminate, Rood? Feminine, certainly.

Why?

Thousands have just marched for Scottish Independence. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-49932819
