The Friends Sofa is coming to Cardiff.
AND you can sit on it!

It's times like this I miss the cultural values of the UK.

Maybe, just maybe, that legendary sofa can bring us all together and reunite a disunited kingdom.

I'm not sitting next to no beardy liberals watching channel 4. Angry

You can't get them away from Frasier repeats.

Fireman Sam has been axed by Lincolnshire Fire Service because he's male and white:

Fireman Sam has been axed by Lincolnshire Fire Service because he's male and white:

When you say he's been "axed", do you mean they've chopped his hose off?

I hope not but I suspect that's what the people behind this idea would really like to do. Laughing out loud

18 years. since 9/11
Lots of people killed and there are still related deaths.

Reminds me of a Sandy Denny song:

Royal Family Shock!

Prince Harry closes car door.

Thanks.

That's weird,it works elsewhere.Spooky.

On the subject of Fireman Sam, I've just chanced upon an episode and it really is remarkably diverse.

It has girls and women, one of them in a wheelchair.

It has one non-Caucasian boy.

Several people with ginger hair.

People wearing spectacles.

Some Welsh people and at least one person whose accent appeared to originate "down under".

A bloke with a beard.

And when you look at the end credits, there are names there from all over the world.

The programme is a veritable monument to social diversity!

You're slipping, this post hasn't got a laughing emoticon tagged on the end for no apparent reason.

What do you mean 'no apparent reason'?
I laugh till I cry at his at his wit, the laughing emoticon isn't needed.

Laughing out loud There, just in case you felt short-changed.

Still with Fireman Sam, TV chef James Martin is appalled at Sam's sacking and announced today that he's "done with all this PC bollocks" and henceforth wishes to be known as an otter.

I think James speaks for all the normal people in Britain - not that all those people wish henceforth to be known as otters but rather that a normal person is in favour of political correctness in so far as it means treating people with appropriate respect but is against extremes of political correctness - sometimes known as "political correctness gone mad" or "PC bollocks".

Bollocks to PC bollocks, I say! Laughing out loud
