I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,072

I always couple the MOT with the annual service, so our (brilliant) car mechanic sorts everything necessary before the MOT.

The problem is in this case is that Epstein didn't subsequently turn out to be a criminal. Andrew continued to consort with him even after he'd been convicted of sexual offences. Not very wise.

Exactly. Having now watched all the footage of Andrew seeing off a young woman from Epstein's house AFTER Epstein had served a sentence, it looks like HRH has been as guilty as Hell. Dirty old bastard. - he must have been early 40s when consorting with a 17-year-old. But didn't he always have a dodgy reputation?

For me actions often speak louder than words . So when a man who has spent his entire life having staff open doors for him suddenly decides to take charge of a front door in house that's not his, you know somethings going down that even the butler can't be in on.

Right now I'm car-less and enjoying being free of constant bills and queuing for petrol.

I commute 30+ miles each way, so I have no choice but to own a car.

What's the current price of petrol over there? I paid $2.25 per gallon Saturday, which the calculator tells me is about 49p per litre.

In my area, it's between £1.25 and £1.30 per litre at the moment, depending on where you buy it.

About £1.20, but our cars go around 50 mpg, which is much more than your gas-guzzlers. :D Whistling nnocently

Funniest jape of the season.

This happened in my hometown Basel a few days ago.
Some son of a gun jumps into the river Rhine:

You know what I took from that, not that he's a loony, but the beautiful clean river.
And the lovely looking city.

Both jumps would be too much for me. I'm a terrible coward when it comes to heights.

Likewise. It took me many attempts before I could join the other teens in jumping off a railroad trestle when I was in high school. There were lots of alligators to add to the anxiety of it all.

Just don't mention the war.

Quote: Briosaid @ 18th August 2019, 10:12 PM

Every time I ask a Brexiteer why they want to leave, the silence is deafening. None has ever given me an answer. When they're starving or dying from lack of medicines, the silence will be even more deafening.

Those scare stories are just bollocks propoganda stirred up by whinging Remoaners.

We fought a war in 1939 to get rid of a European Dictator. Why should we put up with one now?

Why should we be told what to do with our money?

Why can't we make our own laws?

Why should we take refugees that the Europeans shift through the mainland as quick as possible for us to support?

I think I cracked that joke about.........er, two years ago. :D
