It's ok Phill, I'll use my own name. It's just your credits I need.

Oh, that's alright then.

I'm going to enter several times using my schizophrenia as a cover.

Lets just hope that some of your other personalities can actually write then....

I'm sorry... I couldn't resist that.... I tried I really did... sorry again...

Do you mind....

Vegetarian indeed....

I love vegetarian Indian cooking, but also like to get me mouth around a big bit of meat...

:D Angry :D Angry :D Angry They can't make up their mind.

What the hell, I may as well enter this.

Just got to tighten up 6 sketches.

Oh dang, what the hells a writing CV. Mine would currently run to: 1 sketch sold to NewsRevue!

I just checked out the writers CV thread. I'm sorted.

Well, my application's away - anyone else?

I know Recorded for Training Purposes tried to fill the gap, but it still went down the competition route, taking on a group of writers most of whom it apparently quietly dropped at the end of the second series, and never fulfilling its initial promise to go open access.

As one of the writers for that show, I'm not quite sure where you got 'quietly dropped at the end of the second series' from.

There hasn't been a third series yet, so it would be hard to have written for it! We're all still within the loop on commissioning for various other shows as well (and have a support network of ten decent funny mates to help us out and give tips). There's a degree to which we have to push ourselves, but I certainly don't feel dismissed or ignored.

Well, Antrax, I guess I based it on comments from a writer from the show who posted here on another thread in January, who replied when asked if there was to be another series:

"Dunno. The producer quit the BBC at the end of the run, last I ever heard was that it 'might be back'. Mr Cary was busy cobbling together Hut 33 and said to me it would be at least a year, if not more, because of his commitments (and that was back in September). The good news, I guess, is that it was suggested they'd have a raft of new writers in if it returned. Not so great for me mind, since I was told to do one. Arse."

That was my post… I’d just like to point out it wasn’t intended to come across as the bitter ramblings of someone ‘ignored’ or ‘dismissed’ – I was simply stating my own situation. I wasn’t speaking on behalf of any of the other members of the team either, just myself. I was not recommended for the third series, if it happened, and am not in any commissioning loop. In fact up until right this very moment, I didn’t even realise there was such a loop! Even bigger arse!!

Daft question, but is any of this info on the BBC website?
