Glad you cleared that up as the friend I phoned didn't know the answer either.
Looking into it there were a number of UK named nuclear weapons over the years and this will make for a good connection on OC, so thanks for that Stephen!

It looks like at least two of them have yes but it's coincidental to my connection which is a lot lighter - that's a clue.
It's the broad range (?) of the tennis players with the "appropriate" that is confusing me :-

I did this because that's how OC works on telly, for the straight connections round, if a contestant gets it after 3 clues then any correct answer will do as there can be several examples. For clue 4 it's not just tennis players, it could be a player from any sport known for this thing, but it was a bit easier to identify tennis players rather than well known enough golfers for example. That help?
