Brown's Waxwork

BROWN’S OFFICE. HE IS SAT ON HIS CHAIR LOOKING FORWARD. AN AIDE ENTERS.

AIDE
Ah, Prime Minister, I need to talk to you about Madame Tussauds and all this fuss over your waxwork. I told them you had more important things to think about, obviously, but they seemed to think you’d already approved it four months ago. Prime Minister?

BROWN IS MOTIONLESS. THE AIDE POKES HIM. HE SLUMPS TO THE SIDE – AS A WAXWORK.

AIDE (CONT)
I don’t believe it. Four months!!

A smile rather than a laugh

I really like this one!

I don't think you need to repeat the four months part.

I think that without that bit, it doesn't really suggest that he's been a waxwork for ages. Rather than just five minutes.

Could be reading it wrong though.

I like this. Really good idea.

Think the punch could possibly be improved, but I'm not quite sure how. I certainly wouldn't want to simply remove the "four months", as the gag would be largely lost then.

I'm just pointing out that you don't need to say "four months" twice.

Ahhhh. I see!

No, that is how it's intended.

John: I'm not too hot on punches either - I'm normally happy with at least a semi-good one!

Mmm, maybe.

Mmm, maybe.

Maybe? You're crazy. You've written a neat little sketch and repeated your punch twice. Where's your head at, Williams?

Laughing out loud
*Runs for cover*

This is what his megaphone's for!
Shouting at us. :(

Hahaha!
Look at his angry Hugh Grant face!

I knew it was only a matter of time before the Huge Grant taunting started.

I think he looks quite jolly.
A jolly Hugh Grant.
