You have the squarest house in the world. It's just so damn right angled on all the corners!

Oh yeah the snow too.

Yea all the houses in this neighborhood are built in the 60's. There built for renting as there are usually 3 apartments each.

Wow - thanks for the pictures - they're cool! Does that mean you don't have to go to work today?

No, Ottawa went nuts on snow removal this time. They even hired contractors. Some guy in a farm tractor did our road. And the cops were out on snowmobiles zooming around. I'm sitting in class right now and all my friends had to work this morning.

Glad you all enjoyed the photos. The kids in the neighborhood seemed to really enjoy the snow, they were sliding down the hill nearby, street hockey, lots of snowmen ect..ect... After the blizzard it was only around -5 out so it was actually a really nice day to be outside...as long as you're bundled up.

Holy shit look at all that lovely white stuff! Looks like Amy Winehouse's weekly coke delivery. When oh WHEN are we going to get some decent snow in this godforsaken pissy-rainy wind-ravaged grey cackhole we call a country?

I want to live in a country that has real seasons like it did when I was a nipper. F**k it I'm moving to Canada. Square houses or no square houses.

:O I love our weather!

Normally.

I just wish it was darker and colder for more of the year, and less warm. :(

You hobbit Aaron!

Now THAT'S what I call snow! We don't know what it is in this country.

You hobbit Aaron!

Hobbit? On what basis?!

Quote: ian_w @ March 10, 2008, 3:28 PM

We had about 2 millimeters a couple of weeks back, that was exciting :(

I actually think that's an exageration!

Hobbit? On what basis?!

Your big hairy feet and your love of the ring.

Laughing out loud

:(

Fear not Aaron, the ladies may mock our hairy feet, but yet they never want us to shave them.
Ladies love the hobbit feet.

There's always foot transplants.

I think Charley's donating hers.

When I was about 8, I got stuck upside down in a 6 foot snowdrift and my dad had to lift me up by my ankles. Unsurprisingly, I was in Ohio, not Britain...

How the HELL did you manage that?!

How the HELL did you manage that?!

Well...

There was a huge dip in between our garden and the next one, and I was running through the snow and kind of stumbled, and went headlong into the dip, where the snow was about that deep...
