Wetwang

I was just watching the news and on the weather map, there was a place called Wetwang.

I found the name quite funny and wondered if anyone on here lived there? Or maybe you've holidayed there.

No, but my mate went to Royston Vasey...

He said it was very boring, he went to the library asked a bit about it, and they were all - "Yeah it was like 5 years ago..."

Do you mean Hadfield?

I didn't know there was a library in Roy Chubby Brown.

The River Piddle in Dorset, how we laughed.

My friend used to live in Lower Piddlehampton.

Laughing out loud

Near where I was born was Hore's Pit.

Wow!

There's two villages round here called Beer, and Curry.

That's got to be the Mecca for fat football-hooligan types from across the country.

I enter Locksbottom on a regular basis

We have a village called Cockington.

My grandad lives in a caravan in f**kybumbooboo.

Sounds lovely! That's my holiday booked!

Richard Whitley used to be mayer of Wetwang. Paul Hudson who does the weather on our local Look North news programme and radio sheffield took over from him after he died.

Thats after Whitley died, not the weather man, he's not a dead mayer.
