Give Blood?

So, who gives blood? Who doesn't?

And why do you/ or do not?

Do you know your blood type?

Me - I gave blood regularly until I went travelling... I'm starting again on 7th April. I can't explain the great feeling I get from knowing my blood will save people's lives. :$ I am O negative - which means it can be used on anyone -so it's given to people in car crashes, or new borns... when there's not enough time to check what blood type they are. Unfortunately I can only recieve my own type.

:D

I would but I hate haveing a blood test.

I regularly do amazing things. One of these things is giving blood :)

I do, I had stopped for a while after they had screwed up once and blood started spraying out on my new cream coloured sweater. I go now though, I think it's important if you can, even if the process is a bit tedious some times.

That happened to me once... was really funny. Got the nurse in the face!

Sorry if you're squeemish anyone! Sick

I always almost faint and/or throw up when I have blood taken. So for those selfish reasons I don't give blood.

I have no idea what my blood type is. I really want to know!

I don't/won't because I was anaemic. And besides, the hospital would probably lose the blood. ( I went for a blood test and they broke the container)

my blood type is Z posinegativetive. (Actually, that's a lie. I don't know what my blood type is.

I'm giving blood soon at work, partly because my mother can't and so I can be off the phones for 10 minutes OH! And so I can get a few cookie or something.

And saving lives I guess...

Do you really get a biscuit?
I thought that was a myth...

I'm also an organ doner... so neh! :P

I have donated blood & eggs & would do bone marrow if called up too.
I am eternaly grateful to those that give blood too. Without them I would have died.
Also on my death all organs except my eyes are going to whoever wants em.

OOoooh that's the same as me Charley - I don't want my eyes taken. Freaks me out!

Laughing out loud We need to see where we are going eh!

Yep... I don't want to fall out of the boat...
