Snooooooooow!

Today I spent nearly 4 hours with two friends digging out my driveway from a massive snow storm that dropped over 50 centimeters of snow on us in one day (and more coming shortly after). I thought I'd share two pictures of my driveway with you all.

Image
To the left of my buddy Gilles is actually a car covered in snow. You can see that the snow banks are over 7 feet in height as Gilles is over 6 feet (the guy shoveling).

In this picture facing my apartment you can see see my fiancee's head poking just above the snow bank.
F**king snow

Coool.

That is extremely cool... and there's us with pissing down rain here and windy winds!! :O

If only it was still the dead of winter. :(

Think you have it bad Curt, it rains knifes in england.

You have the squarest house in the world. It's just so damn right angled on all the corners!

Oh yeah the snow too.

You're so LUCKY!!

Where I'm living now, it hasn't snowed one flake for THREE YEARS.

Boring stupid crap weather.

Wow - thanks for the pictures - they're cool! Does that mean you don't have to go to work today?

I tell you what, that snow certainly puts the minor little storm heading towards England that everyone is getting over-worried about into perspective.

Agreed!

Although it was snowing when I left the house one morning last week. But it didn't settle, and wasn't very heavy at all. :(

It snows in terrington but not tilney, which is good because we can all look out of the window inttead of doing science or maths, then go home to a nice, non-snoy place! :) best of both worlds!

Why would you want to go home to a non-snowy place? Are you mad, woman?! The taunting of the snow elsewhere would destroy me! :O

I haven't had a snowball fight in years. :(
Or made a snowman!

I get excited going into the walk-in freezer at work, cos sometimes there's little bits of ice I can play with and pretend it's snow.

That is so unbelievably adorable! >_<

... I wanna make a snowmans tooooooo. :(

Last time it really properly snowed was, I think, early February 2007. It was pretty deep, so I went walking in Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens with my camera. Got absolutely freaking SOAKED, but it was fun, and I got some good pics. Had to leave my shoes underneath the industrial-size hot water tank in our block of flats for three and a half days before they were dry. Laughing out loud

Wow Curt, that's fecking awesome! Lots of snow!

We had about 2 millimeters a couple of weeks back, that was exciting :(

Whats wrong with you people never seen ice before! :P

Nice pictures Curt.
