Who hates Radio 1? Page 2

I really liked it when Colin looked after The Evening Session for about 3 months. I preferred him to Zane Lowe, but they don't beat Lamacq.

Steve Lamacq is on Radio 2 now. He has an irritating voice but plays good stuff and knows what he's talking about.

I like Radio 1, except for Scott Mills who is truly awful. It just seems that it's always an easy target for anyone wishing to take a pop at a radio station?

It's not all I listen to though. In equal measure I also tune into Radio 2, Radio 5, Talk Sport, Classic Rock & Virgin. Just depends what I'm in the mood for on any given day.

I listened to a lot of Radio 1 for a while, but I found the playlist too minimalist after a while, so I more often listen to XFM now.

Is XFM a bit less extreme now because the music they've been playing for years has become mainstream?

radio genius John Peel

I'd never heard of him before he shuffled off the mortal coil.

Lamacq is great on 6 music, well, everyone on 6music is great apart from George Lamb. I can't stand Radio 1. If I do listen it's usually to Zane Lowe, but I swithc over when he's speaking. I veer from 6 music to Radio 2.

Laughing out loud
Aaron!

*shakes head*

I remember his Perfumed Garden.

Just

Colin is very good on Fighting Talk if you're a sports fan.

I now look after an area from Leeds, Northwards, and including Ireland. I listen to the radio in the car, and there are certain areas where you can't get any radio at all.

I hate Radio 1. Not because of the DJ's, but because the music is shite. Radio 2 is gret, especially in the evening with Lard and his pal, and also on Saturday morning with Jonathan Ross, then the music comedy program. (You just can't tell I can't be arsed googling everything tonight).

I also love the discussions on Radio Scotland. I find myself getting concerned about some of the callers that clearly don't understand anything about politics!!!

It's Mark Radcliffe with Stuart Maconie. I thought Lard was Radcliffe's old mate.

Not me. I lurve Radio 1.

I used to love Mark and Lard in the morning before I went to college. Don't know if they're still on radio 1, haven't listened for years. Playing only modern music was fine when modern music wasn't a pile of shit.

I listen to Chris Moyles in the weeek on listen again and fast foward the music, Makes me laugh I know alot of people don't like him. BUt their wrong comedy Dave is a funny guy.
