10 million for each Spice Girl when they're just 'hanging out'. I'd hang out with Sporty for two quid eleven.

Quote: Gordon Bennett @ 12th April 2018, 9:18 PMPostman brought me 'Damned Damned Damned' yesterday. Fantastic record!
I've got the new album to pick up from the Post Office. I "pledged" for it ages ago. Should be a signed vinyl copy if I remember correctly.
Only Vanian and the Captain from the original line up but It's had some really good reviews.
Record Store Day 2018 this Saturday. I've looked to see what's on offer and made a short (long!) list.
I spent much more than I should have! About £130.
My purchases included the Flaming Groovies, Lulu, Trevor Burton, a live Who EP and the repressing on clear vinyl of "Their Satanic Majesties Request" with the lenticular cover.
Postman brought me Captain Beefheart's "Lick My Decals Off, Baby" and The Damned's "Strawberries".
do you actually order these albums?
Or is your postman some sort of musical Santa, dispensing musical delights to good little boys and girls like yer good self?

Listened to it a bit at my local record store. Sounds great, much like their early eighties stuff.

My rec is Dream Wife, Belfast Sat, 6Music stage 3.15pm.
Most of the acts are fairly well known, and mainstream. Anyone else got any other obscure/left-field recs?

I'd definitely watch Courtney Barnett, but she's not very obscure these days.
