Confessions Of A Window Cleaner

Timmy starts as a window cleaner in the little company of his brother. Soon he learns that some female customers expect additional service. Young and curious as he is, he reluctantly accepts the juicy duty. However his heart belongs to Liz, who demands the highest commitment until she lets him go all the way.

First one I watched. A really great film from the film collection of Confessions.

A mate reminded me of this film the other day, so I watched various clips of it online. I must admit, I quite like the 'nudge, nudge, wink, wink' style of British Sex Comedy. It's also interesting to see that Robin Askwith is still very much in the business.

I watched this film, having been introduced to Robin Askwith by chance in Carry on Girls. I have to admit, I found this film to be a breath of fresh 70s air. It is definitely a Benny Hill-esque sexual thing going on, and as I discover watching the series Askwith's ass is the highlight of the romps, but I liked the film's story. Great fancy free coming of age in a Britain nobody probably will see again with a lot of puberty angst. That brother in law of his was just wonderful as the antagonist.

I doubt anyone ever saw that Britain the first time around!
Love the newspaper page - where did that come from? Viz, perhaps?

LOL, I mean the sexual revolution part in relation to the generation. It was an innocence sort of, at least to me, to see the openness of sex in the films without it turning into a moral crusade in its meaning (even if the societal reaction may have been different). American films of the same period would show tits and that would be it - a bare ass ass flash from a man would garner an automatic X rating, and anything showing cock, balls, pubes would outright never get a release (unless it was porn).

When Richard Gere bared it all in 5 seconds of American Gigolo damn near killed his career for a decade. Keep in mind this was at a time when Carol and Mike Brady sleeping in the same bed was seen controversially immoral even though they were married, but Robin Askwith is losing his V card on trains and on kitchen floors with soap suds flashing his bare ass at the theater. Even Benny Hill got a little T&A in there without a riot.

Safe to say, America is far more restrictive and puritanical than Britain!
