Love that flick and Gary Oldman makes a great unhinged baddie. I'm watching a Friends DVD and the episode where Joey works with Gary Oldman who does the spit acting 
It's a brilliant film. Trouble is I always have a bit of sympathy for Gary Oldman's baddie. I swear if I'd lived in 18th century France, I'd have been sitting there with my knitting at the guilotine. And the Internationale is such a rousing piece.

I gave up QI at least 5 years ago as...............well.................meh, just seemed the same each week.
In TV terms I'm having a dry January because I've not watched it for the last few weeks when I unplugged it all and turned the heating off in that room. It's like the Arctic in there right now so watching any telly is likely to result in Pneumonia. I needed a break and I'm not missing the same old shows I was watching day after day and seeing the same adverts 10 times a day but I didn't factor in the Masters Snooker which is on this week and my fave snooker player, John Higgins has got to the semi finals so I'm going to have to watch that. Apart from that it's been off and given me the chance to watch all the DVDs I've bought but never watched. I've had a stand up week and been watching loads of different stand up gigs every night. Last night was Steve Coogan Live & Lewd and The Man Who Thinks He's It followed by Stuart Lee Live which I had never seen before. The one where he gets four members of the audience to fire party poppers over him when he comes on.

On a prog I saw the other night, about multi millionaire divorces. Was that the worst advert for womankind or what? One of them unsatisfied with the 50m she got went to court to get another 100m but didn't get it, F**k me, how will she get by?
If you're in the habit of judging an entire gender by the ones you see on a TV show, I suggest not watching the news. You'll go away thinking all men are murdering rapist paedophiles or something...!
