Can anyone recommend some recent films that are similar to Keeping Mum?
I really enjoyed the film's updated Ealing Studios vibe, but couldn't think of any other recent black comedies to compare it to. Maybe Death at a Funeral? I'm looking for something with that kind of genteel dark humour... Any suggestions would be welcome, thanks.
I enjoyed Keeping Mum as well. It's American so a bit brasher but 'So I Married an Axe Murderer' has a similar vibe.
I had never heard of it but after reading about it it looks great and I'm going to buy it tomorrow. I would buy it today but the shop closes in 5 minutes and it would take me at least 15 minutes to travel there and that doesn't include the time needed to put my shoes on.
