Yes, where Chapped Legs is concerned. He's always been the same, like a tiresome child "Are we there yet" "I can't find my toys" "Someone sort my life out"....................................Grrrrrrr.

But I suppose I will have to give a kiss later and wipe away the tears.

I naively thought that if I search "Tim Vines Travels through Time" on my TV it would bring it up.

Anyway thank you for all your helpful hints! I am watching it now. I'm a fan of Tim's anyway and it seems timely reminiscent of my previous mention of the Valiant Varneys.

I was in the studio audience for this. I enjoyed it then and I enjoyed watching it edited together. I think there's room for a silly, pun heavy sitcom like this, God knows we need escapist comedy at the moment! Plus some of the wordplay is really inspired, and the sheer number of jokes in one script is impressive. At least I hope it gets a first series to give it a chance. Incidentally I would pay good money to see Tim Vine in a room with Stewart Lee, would the world implode?

So was I! :)

I thought this was just cracking good fun. No point looking for much in the way of a narrative: it's just silly and gag-packed. Very enjoyable. I'd certainly welcome a series.

How come the master of puns hasn't done the "Also available as a Vine" joke yet?

I think I've answered my own question.

I'm a big fan of Tim Vine

This sketch of him 'doing ventriloquism' is really clever - and funny

It's when they keep looking at each other that creases me up.

Is there a thread for this?
If there is, can it be deleted immediately in the vain hope that the same thing will happen to the programme itself?

No need to read anything else on this thread, because I can't imagine anyone disagreeing with you.

I watched it all, purely because I admire Tim's ability with puns, but I'd have preferred to have just read them all. Quite why there was a talented cast there with him I don't know, since they weren't called upon to contribute in any meaningful way. I do like Tim's stand-up, it has a quality of rebellious anti-fashion about it, but this didn't do anything for me. Maybe being in the audience at the show would have been more rewarding.

Yes, it was a fun silly 30 minutes of nonsense. Not sure whether I'd like to see a full series but as a one-off it was certainly enjoyable.

I've never seen that before - you are right on both counts Stephen.

That really made me laugh quite loudly and I have headphones on and it's late at night and I'm guessing my housemates think I'm mad, which is fine because everyone knows I genuinely am.
