Sneakin' Sally Through The Alley - Robert Palmer

(A Gordon favourite perhaps? How about Chappers?)

Yes, I know and like this song, sounds like a funkier Little Feat number. Wasn't there a connection between Palmer and Feat/Lowell George?

I have both volumes of the 'Addictions' compilation and I must say I like his earlier songs on it(I only knew his 80s stuff before) so I'm thinking about buying some of his 70s albums which mostly seem to be out of print though. I managed to find and buy the Double Fun album at the flea market last year. A surprisingly hard rocking track called You Gonna Get What's Coming closes this otherwise very poppy album.

Yes I'm a fan going back to Vinegar Joe with Elkie and just about remember the Alan Bown Set.

Never heard of them. The song sounds like a Supremes cover. The bloke with the trumpet must have been the inspiration to Madness' stage persona.
:D
