I was angered by a reviewer decribing McCartney's post-Beatle work as 'artistically insipid, pathetically immature, an embarrassment to the legacy and only of interest to retarded, 100-years-behind-the-times Beatle arse-lickers with nothing better to do in life than look for levels that simply arent't there...' I myself am a retarded, 100-years-behind-the-times Beatle arse-licker with nothing better to do in life than look for levels that simply arent't there, and I think it's f**king shit too.
Two days before I go to see Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes for my birthday (Hint!).

Just happened to catch Charles Berry Jnr. on BBC Breakfast this morning talking about the long awaited album "Chuck" - fascinating to here his story, albeit brief.

I also like her work with Feee...Wooo...Mehhh.
Bought 'Ladies & Gentlemen' and 'Live in Texas '78' by the Stones. Already had them on DVD but I wanted them on cd for years...glad they finally released them.
Supporting Southside Johnie were a band called Hardwicke Circus. Very good band who I knew nothing about apart from Googling them before we went and they were better than You Tube stuff. One for the future ....... unless you already know about them!
Mel C says, 'My new video should get a lot of thumbs up.' I never heard them called that before.

Mine is "Fat Smoke Smith".
10 hours from now I'll be at a Roger Waters concert. I'm off to watch a few hours of anti-Israel, anti-Trump videos on YouTube to prepare myself.
Hunting around I found this - a very underrated 60s British Band.
The Alan Bown. Just about remember them.

Still, enjoy the gig. I like his solo stuff, especially Amused To Death. I haven't got the new record yet.
