They've replied to someone else on Twitter saying all writers will be informed today.

They're cutting it a bit fine, if so.
I got an 'unfortunately on this occasion..' email about 6pm.
I got an email that said: you got through to the 2nd round.
But unfortunately it looks like my horse fell at that hurdle.
Apparently that puts me in the top 25%
Not bad seeing I only heard about the brief the day before deadline!
I got the same email about making it through to the second round. Well I suppose there is always next year!
We got the "no" email. Well done to all who got the "yes" or the "nearly"!
Big fat no here. Oh well.
Gah. I got the 'Shortlisted, top 6%, unfortunately not this time email'. Dang.
Yeah, that didn't go so well.
This might not be the right thread but how often do you all enter competitions vs sending out specs or even filming your own work/putting it on YouTube (or something more "professional"? Is this the best avenue?
The best avenue is the avenue that makes you succeed. If you are going to do a YouTube video (or your own podcast or even a funny tweet) you may need to spend some money on promotion?
What if you're not a 'public facing' writer or is this something you have to overcome?
Yes it's something I (sic) have to overcome!
