The important points are - his father was a so-called freedom fighter while your Dad worked for the local Council; his mother is a nuclear scientist while your mother was on the till at Woolies; he lived in a £750 a week house whereas at that age you lived with 23 other skint people in a house designed for just three people that was provided by your college.
And I know that the right wing commentator Peter Hitchens who I don't generally agree with isn't commenting until he knows the full facts - sensible - but it is any illegal drug use he will be looking out for as he has already proven that there is at least as much of a link between the terrorists there as there is in terms of any so-called faith or crazy religion.
Call me backward but I didn't get on a plane until 30. I didn't have the money or the nerve and anyhow it would have meant that I couldn't listen to The Clash all day and night. These types fly in and out of countries far more often than you visit your favourite neighbour. You must have one. If not, obtain one quick. We can't afford 1990s style independence.
And we should call such atrocities from now on a manifestation of "spoilt brat syndrome"with all of the madness that can entail. The Bin Ladens were in that category. Extreme capitalists. A fetish for violence when barely out of adolescence.
The news media? I am not at all happy with the wall to wall coverage. It is sick "entertainment" in the main from an industry that is now misery "porn". It is a good job that Jeremy Vine was not in my vicinity when he mentioned the youngest victim's name for the umpteenth time and then added that her mother may not know yet that the little girl had been killed. That's at least as bad in my opinion as what the American press did in releasing sensitive information.
