You obviously all hate K & K because it has so many Aussie stereotypes. You probably think the same about Dame Edna/Sir Les Patterson.
I don't really find Edna funny. She's likeable though.
But Kath & Kim is hil-flipping-arious. You people just have to give it more time, it's a grower.

Hey hey! Hang on a bit. I said most of us find it annoying, but we don't HATE it! I mean, for a week or year or so, every second person was quoting, "Look at moi". Which was funny, when the person could do it semi-accurately. I guess it's just worn off now. I think "dyke, on a bike, if ya like" is a classic line from K&K though. 
Oh and..!
Dame Edna is brilliant. I have no qualms with that "shim".
