Ask me anything mortgage related
I know all about Mortgages!
more gags, how can I write them?
arf arf!
laughter can go down as well as up
The word means 'dead pledge'. Why?
Cos its a commitment to pay unless you die. (Don't think that'll come up in the exam)
I think mortgage might be one of the most depressing and soul sapping words in the English language.
A good synonym is Usury (grrr)
Did you know there are Sharia mortgages?

Surely it's French with something to do with DEAD!
But it's more depressing and soul sapping than the word morte or even the word DEATH. In capitals.
Explain that.

Probably not. Their best (and probably only) bet is either to try a sub prime provider or housing association. However cos of the credit crunch the sub prime leders are shitting themselves.
