My brain hurts now - shouldn't the last English one be Misters?

Didn't I hear "Messieurs Grytpype-Thynne and Eccles, Commissioners For Oaths" on the radio? Either is used.
That was in homage to HGT's sidekick, the penniless (or should that be francless) French Count Jim "Knees" Moriarty.
Quote: Paul Wimsett @ 29th April 2017, 6:18 PMClose. There are French plurals related to Happy Families - Misses, Masters, "Mrses" and Messieurs.
1. Mademoiselles
2. Jeune Messieurs
3. Dames
4. Messieurs
This is what I was querying and wondering why it wasn't Misters, and how is it a Sequence? I only ask to see if I can use it.
This is kind of done now, Herc.
Not quite up there with Victoria's clever closing quips. You're supposed to say something like: "You laboured longer than the original Hercules! And you didn't even kill the Nemean Lion! Although you do seem possessed by the Erymanthian Boar. Well, that's enough "boar"-ing lions from me, I'm off to get ripped off my tits on vodka now [decolletage smirk]."

In your eyes maybe, but as you have played the old "Get Out of Jail Free" card, we'll move on.
A scorpion?
Can see where you are coming from, but no.
A silver chair?
Quote: Kenneth @ 4th May 2017, 1:23 AMA silver chair?
I've no idea where you are going with that one, so you know what the answer is.
A three-headed dog, but I won't reveal the reason in case I'm wrong.
3. The feet of a bear ?

Er yes, you are but go on tell us your reasoning - you are amongst friends, we won't laugh. Promise.
Quote: Firkin @ 4th May 2017, 11:16 AM3. The feet of a bear ?
Errrrr, I need to know what the fourth is in the sequence - you will know what the third picture is tomorrow...................not unless someone gets it today of course.
And as with Paul, I'd love to know where you are going with feet of a bear.
