I read the news today oh boy! Page 1,906

United CEO Oscar Munoz sent an internal email to staff about the incident, saying:
Dear Team,

Like you, I was upset to see and hear about what happened last night aboard United Express Flight 3411 headed from Chicago to Louisville.

While the facts and circumstances are still evolving ....

... Our employees followed established procedures for dealing with situations like this. While I deeply regret this situation arose, I also emphatically stand behind all of you, and I want to commend you for continuing to go above and beyond to ensure we fly right.

How do facts evolve? It's called spin doctoring, surely.

This is the same bag of shit airline that recently refused to allow little girls to board a flight because they were wearing leggings. The airline refused to apologize for its "no leggings" dress code for family members of staff. United is doing a tremendous job of buying bad publicity.

Ironically they overbook to keep fares down and business up. I wonder how much this will hurt bookings now, as there are some things apologies are not adequate for.

Those thugs should be prosecuted for assault. I couldn't help observing he didn't look like a WASP. Was that why they chose him?

I would have thought you'd want to keep doctors on the plane. I believe they say the computer 'chose him at random'.

I haven't checked but I heard earlier that only reason he didn't 'volunteer' to get off was because he had patients he needed to see. Watch that lawsuit transpire.

Sean Spicer needs to resign.

The fact that he 'didn't mean' Hitler's own people just makes it worse.

I'm sure he would even be relieved, as there was a piece in the news a few weeks ago saying he was wearing his pin upside down, which is considered a sign of distress.

Just discovered that doctor they manhandled off the plane is 69! And of course now they're digging the dirt on his private life.

The Daily Fail were having a right 'ol dredge of his personal life, no wonder they are being sued so often.

Probably another set-up by Trump administration to distract from dropping bombs(?!), which, incidentally is poking a hornet's nest with ISIS.

My gut instinct was wow - the MOAB felt right as finally someone is standing up to these monsters, but hornets will always just retaliate unless annihilated altogether, so I hope and pray they don't come out swarming and hurt more people as a consequence than they might have done had it not happened.

Anyone else getting scared to turn on the news these days??

I'm going into hibernation. Bollocks to the lot of 'em.

I'll meet you there!

Comedy is my way of coping with everything which is why I signed up here in the first place.

I think all we can do is laugh if we're all doomed at the hands of a collection of rabble-rousers who think they're all playing some sort of shoot-em-up video game to score points against one another.

What we really need is for Harry Hill to be king of the world - and that way, we'll be too busy laughing and feeling silly that we won't have time to think about any political, racial or religious differences.

Poking a hornet's nest is the best way to kill hornets. Other than spraying them with chemicals that is, but given recent events in Syria that would be a bit hypocritical.

In case you've missed it, the men, women & children of ISIS don't really need much of a reason to lop of heads, blow up schools, run over pedestrians, etc. -- just being an infidel is enough for their purposes.

Yes. When I saw the latest yesterday (on facebook, in fact) I went downstairs and told my husband how glad I was that our older son is with us this weekend, Because then we can all go together.
