Syria strike a great example of why Trump not suitable for office.

A lame attempt at trying to appear as semi-human given his lowest ever approval rate in history, his reflex decision without considering all consequences and fallout demonstrates all he's achieved here is to prove that he thinks like a toddler - not realising that the bully he's reacting against will just retaliate, and he will alienate more supporters because along with completely changing his views again on not policing or being involved in the issues of other countries, he's now putting Americans last rather than first by potentially taking them into a war.

Watch him blame the courts when it slowly dawns on him - as all it was really about was sticking two fingers up to them by saying "you may be able to stop my executive orders, but you can't stop me doing this".

And by simply risking retaliation from an 'administration' capable of such vile and inhuman atrocities, all he has done to help the people of Syria is to perhaps decrease the number of weapons it may have used on own people by potentially using on other countries.

From an interview a few hours before the strikes:

(CNN)Hillary Clinton called on the United States to take out Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad's Air Force on Thursday, days after a chemical attack killed more than 70 people in the war-torn country.

"Assad has an air force, and that air force is the cause of most of these civilian deaths as we have seen over the years and as we saw again in the last few days," Clinton said in a speech at the "Women in the World" summit in New York City. "And I really believe that we should have and still should take out his air fields and prevent him from being able to use them to bomb innocent people and drop sarin gas on them."

Whatever. I just love America and its people which is why I am paying so much attention to this . . . but of course the implications to the rest of us.

Yeah - just let them use chemical weapons on their own people. But make sure you tell them off so they realise you don't agree with what they're doing.

While my gut reaction was positive given the fact that he was standing up to a monster, I quickly realised a leopard doesn't change its spots overnight. He may have experienced a smattering of compassion, but you can't just wade in without a plan, and when dealing with heartless maniacs, telling them off with a taste of their own medicine is just going to fuel the flames unless you annihilate them, not just their tools.

Who shall I vote for?

Labour - Leave Britain defenceless
Lib Dem - Overturn democratic referendum on EU
Conservative - Go to war with Russia and frack Britain to pieces
SNP - Tear Britain apart
Plaid Cymru - Tear Britain apart
Sinn Fein - Tear Britain apart
Ulster Unionists - Go to war with Russia and frack Britain to pieces
Respect - Turn Britain Muslim
Greens - Leave Britain defenceless and tear Britain apart
Harriet Harman's Women's Sect - Remove all men from Britain
UKIP - Frack Britain to pieces and go to war with Germany

Nah.....don't think I'll bother. :(

You MUST vote. People died so you can vote. So, go there and spoil you paper if you don't fancy the candidates. Alternatively find out as much as you can about the individuals and give one of them a 'personal' vote. I did this one year for a man who had a proven track record as a good local councillor, though I didn't normally vote for his party. Not Tory, needless to say. *Starts to froth at the mouth*

Harriet Harman's Women's Sect - Remove all men from Britain

Imagine how nice and peaceful Britain would be!

We'll let all the good ones stay, of course. They can have Suffolk.

Clearly you've never worked in an office comprised mostly of women. I have and it was brutal.

Well we'd also send all the loud, scary women to Ibiza or something.

You've seen The Beguiled? (Clint Eastwood movie where Clint is a wounded Union soldier rescued by an all-girls school in a Confederate forest. Probably his bleakest movie.)

Do you think it would happen in the UK or is a culture difference?
I refer to the legitimate passenger on the United Airlines refusing to get off the plane.

It strikes me that if it was realised on British airways (say)
that a plane was fully booked but some extra staff needed to get on, somebody would say 'I'll ask the passengers if any will leave and we will put them in a hotel for the night with expenses. - but I don't hold out much hope.

And when no one wanted to leave...........it would be tough luck to the crew and the plane would be away.
And, someone would be getting a bollocking for lack of communication down the line for causing this situation.

That is where I see the culture difference; pick 4 random passengers and tell them 'they are off' no arguments, they are off
Culminating in police forcefully dragging him off and injuring him in the process.

Somebody at United Airlines realised they had made a mistake (they called it over-booking, eh)
and kept quiet in the hope 4 passengers would just meekly leave.

Luckily I don't have elections this year as I'm just inside Greater London.

This is the same bag of shit airline that recently refused to allow little girls to board a flight because they were wearing leggings. The airline refused to apologize for its "no leggings" dress code for family members of staff. United is doing a tremendous job of buying bad publicity.

They certainly won't have the problem of being overbooked for a while.
