Shocked that so many forum members are over 75.

I had always thought that the average age was 28.

In the BSG's early years, 28 probably was the average age. But internet forums have now become God's new waiting rooms. Email and Facebook are for old people. And there are benefits. Studies by Madeup University have found that elderly people who regularly use social media, email and internet forums enjoy better cognitive and physical health than broken glass that never goes online. When elderly people engage in online sharing, sparring and self-aggrandizing, they are more likely to feel invigorated and less prone to depression and dementia.

Interestingly, the opposite applies to juvenile sparrows, which are more likely to suffer sadness if they replace real-life social interaction with chatting in online forums.

Well observed. :D Although I see no appeal in Facebook, and as for Twitter - well, have tried a couple of times but it all seems a bit pointless.

Ye still havnae paid me back the tuppence ah lent ye in 1932, whuch wi' compoond intayrest amoonts tae twaynty thoosan' poon' at taeday's rates.. so stick yer hand in yer poket, ye wee sleekit cowrin' parsimonious beastie, ye.

Aye, Ah'll pit ma haun in ma poacket, an that's where it'll stay.

Bruises and scratches take a lot longer to heal which is bloody annoying. It used to be a few days but now it's more like a few weeks or months.

Have just had this 'debate' with Mr. K about whether we'd be allowed on a spaceship for Mars if we had to vacate the earth. I say we'd be a waste of space since we'd be deid before the bloody craft landed on Mars. He, as usual, was more optimistic. But who'd want us, even as fertiliser?
