The "Forces Sweetheart" who kept everyone's spirits up during the Second World War with her uplifting songs and was one of the few to risk her life to entertain the troops in the "Forgotten War" in Burma.

And no I don't remember her in the war as I wasn't born until the last months of it, before some wag suggests it.[i]

I'd certainly visit you then for a big birthday party if you allow. Mind you, I'd be over 70 myself by then. So I'm not sure I'm coming. I wish I had kept away from the booze during my 20s.
