For instance I know his team this week is

GRANT
ALONSO COLEMAN BRUNT
MANÉ PEDRO SIGOURDSON STERLING ALLEN
LUKAKU AGUERO(C)

That's a great effort tbf :)

It did hurt taking Pedro out, it's been a toss-up between him and Brunt for my player of the season. I'll bring him back at some stage

This is worse ...

Yeah sorry, my bad. I mean mea culpa.

Quote: Godot Taxis @ 4th March 2017, 12:35 PM

Surprised at you and Gerry playing your triple captain.

Oh, sod me then. :(

Quote: Godot Taxis @ 4th March 2017, 12:35 PM

and no one's got Sanchez.

Steve has, but that's probably more to do with "let it roll"

Surprised at you and Gerry playing your triple captain. Can't look, it's going to be carnage.

And what bloody good has it done me, when he copies me. Whistling nnocently

I have a feeling that may happen too, so (with West Brom playing the following week in mind) it came down to Sané v Chadli in the end.

Not at all happy about loading up on City this week. I was wrong about United and West Brom - hopefully I'm wrong about City.

Sané is a very good pick. I brought him in GW25 but tragically shipped Pedro for him so lost out on 22 points, that of course Gerry got. Even now I can't explain this. I know why I bought Hazard over Pedro (security of starts) but having identified owning him as a necessity to take on Gerry I then shipped him out. Utter stupidity.

Even worse, I then sold Sané, suspecting that City would get the DGW I would have to buy him back one week later. Because I got Alli and Erikson cheap and because I suspected Mané would start on the bench I ended up selling him so missed out on his 13pts yesterday. Although Sané was my free transfer, I did a -8pts to get my City 3 so I now have to get 17pts from Sané just to break even.

This is why I'm sixth in the clique. This is the sort of confused play that Gerry would never do.

Incidentally bad luck to Anton with Ibra and Gerry with Redmond and Don with Llorente. Redmond is a known quantity but Llorente has surprised me. As I said in an earlier post his age and his bench warming under Bradley definitely led to me underestimating him. Nothing worse than moving early on a player and then selling when they start to haul it in.

No rush.

Wow! At last after many years of trying, I have managed to become invisible.

"My" speech bubble is right - and you have the f**king cheek to have a go at me when I don't answer your posts. Wanker.

Can you see me wagging my finger and now shaking my fist? Oh no, of course not, how silly of me.

And I'm telling Don about you posting pictures, so get ready for a verbal lashing from him. :D

Well, I answered you three times on the previous page, so I'm not sure how I'm ignoring you.

I was sort of 'riffing' on the concept of invisibility with the modern toss cartoon, and hoping to amuse people rather than cryptically calling you an arsehole. I'm not really a cryptic sort of person when it comes to being insulting and I consider you too soft a target to be honest.

That said I will start laying into you if you carry on insulting me needlessly at every opportunity.

Apologies Oh Great One, I didn't realise your answers were rationed, and now I am quaking in my boots.

Maybe try a lower heel?

Ooooh Godot, is that of you honky tonk? Lovey

(Well my Triple Captain has so far been a waste of f**king time.) Angry

It was a reference to you 'quaking in your boots.' I can see this is going to be a lot harder than I imagined.

I'm not sure what you expected. He only got one goal in the home fixture and that was before Pickford came in and before Pep started making him track back.

He's even at risk of rotation for the Stoke fixture. Even if he plays both games a big haul was always unlikely as he will probably be subbed at a three goal lead. I'm not surprised you used your triple captain - you've wasted most of your chips, but I'm surprised at Gerry - obviously preferring to bench boost on the Arsenal DGW

You stand to get 12pts off the bench from Boruc, which is very jammy, so you've got nothing to complain about.

You don't say. It was a bloody joke and you talk of me being hard work - Jeeeesus Christ! >_<

Just your opinion as I don't think I have. There is someone on here who doesn't even know how to use one of them................now THAT is a waste.

At least I had the nous to ask at the start of the season on chips I didn't fully understand and not pretend to be "one of the old school who knew it all" and bluffs their way through. And I AM NOT referring to you, before you get the hump again. Unimpressed

Even if he plays both games a big haul was always unlikely as he will probably be subbed at a three goal lead.

If Man City are 3-0 up, I'd be very surprised if Aguero wasn't amongst the points. Good chance he scores 2 or 3 goals in that scenario.

FF Scout put forward a very, very strong case for TC-ing Aguero, so it came as no surprise to me.

Name and shame.

Don't agree. Could easily only have one or nothing. Sané, Silva, KDB, Touré, Sterling, Nolito all capable of scoring. Zabaleta scored the other day. Iheanacho likely to get a run on Wednesday.
