We've had a dickhead leading the clique and not posting before. It wasn't any good - no point in repeating it.
I made three suggestions about improving the gameplay of the game 17 days ago. Not one f**king comment. There are lots of uncertainties in this life, but that this thread represents the nadir of human mental effort and intelligence is not one of them.

Your transfers weren't showing up when I looked. You won't catch him by making the same moves. As Don says you're only 58 points behind him - that's not a lot. you can chip away at it. That said I don't think you'll catch him.

You're not at the "running out of weeks" stage yet. Do the math. 12 games left to make up 58 points. You only need to better Gerry's score by 5 each week. That's very achievable.
Over January and February you outscored him by 17pts. A small number but proof you're doing something right. Carry on doing what you're doing and wait for him to slip up. He'll throw in a shit week sooner or later.

Thanks Don, but I am committed now. I was only 29 points behind him at one time and missed out on a Kane hat trick I think it was that set me back again.
Whether I go for broke now or in say 10 weeks' time (when things might not be so favourable and maybe then too late), I think I need to gamble in this Double week to possibly steal a march on Gerry - he may by planning the same of course. C'est la vie.

No, he won't. Gerry is a very consistent player. And he doesn't take risks. His only real weakness is his predictability, and unless there is a good differential that's not much of an advantage.
