I think when Network add this title to their website they will offer it cheaper. I wouldn't be surprised if they offered it up for pre-order at a price of around £70 quid.

It will come down on Amazon by quite a bit too after the initial surge of sales and if you are patient.

Remember the Amazon pre-order guarantee: you'll pay whatever the cheapest listed price is between the point you order and the date of release.

Pre ordered! Absolutely brilliant news. Wonder if there'll be any extras? And I'm sure the price will come down to something slightly more reasonable, maybe £60.

Sadly, quite unlikely. If we're lucky they may have digitally restored Series 2 onwards though.

I've seen the out-takes from the Series 1 DVD on YouTube, brilliant, if there are any more of those stashed away somewhere I'd like to see them!

Shows that also appeal to me are Fairly Secret Army, Going Straight, Ever Decreasing Circles, Drop The Dead Donkey.
Are any of these out on DVD?

I got that several years ago. Is this a different version?

It's never been released before. Perhaps you're getting confused with the Series 1 release, which I believe was titled 'The Complete 1972 Series'. This is all 7 series of the show, 68 episodes long.

The Sykes complete series is available now from Simply Media (in their catalogue anyway) pre-order for £49.99. That's a whopping £40.00 cheaper than Amazon! Still nothing mentioned on Network's website about it yet so we don't know how much they want for it yet.
