Stag

Anyone looking forward to the new comedy drama starting next Saturday on BBC Two, called Stag?

"Comedy thriller focused around a stag do in Scotland where each of the members of the party are killed."

The trailer and the cast looks good, so will be tuning in next week.

That sounds like something out of a Family Guy special.

I'll be watching next week

I thought it was brilliant! Really loved it! It sort of had a similar style to 'The Wrong Mans'. Looking forward to the next episode!

Why did the two most interesting (potentially) characters have to go in the first episode??! Really enjoyable farce / dark comedy, love the lead guy, looking forward to next week's ep.

I commented in the What are you watching thread that I thought it was really lame.

All it is a spoof of old time horror films without any humour.

Episode 2 was good but I found the last episode to be quite average. The plot twist reveal left me feeling underwhelmed. Overall, a good comedy drama but not something I would rewatch.

Thought I probably wouldn't like it, or that I'd only last 5-10 mins, but I stuck with it, and found it entertaining. In the vein of Inside Number Nine, and would recommend it if you had a few hours to kill, and wanted to watch something undemanding, but fun (in a dark, twisted way).

I can probably count on one hand the number of comedy/drama series I've rewatched. Always seems to be new stuff to see on telly inc. movies, documentaries, music, sport, things like The Apprentice.

It reminded me a fair bit of "Severance", which is an excellent film. Really enjoyed "Stag" and hope to see more of Jim Howick, aside from "Yonderland".

I enjoyed it on the whole although my vague recollection was one of plot holes and mild frustration.

Loved Severance though.
