Surely a good thing can't happen in 2016? :O

What about Brexit? (I hate the f**king word!)

For 48 per cent of voters that wasn't a good thing.

A man needs the right tool for the right job.

Mine has a left hand thread, which makes it very awkward socially.

Of course, whether or not "Brexit" was a good thing does not depend on how it is currently perceived by 48% - or indeed 52% - of those who voted. It will be determined by how it ultimately works out. And that remains to be seen

And either way, it won't happen in 2016. (Will it?)

Should we ban extreme religious clothing?

2016 continues to suck.

A very good innings though.

RIP John Glenn

Apart from his many achievements he did a wicked cameo on Frasier.

Sad news - and Buzz isn't very well either.

Am currently keeping an eye on some of Europe's Nazier sounding newspaper titles. Here's a surprising one today from the Liechtenstein Vaterland.

Quote: "TRUMP IS AROSA SNOWMAN OF THE YEAR - At the start of the Arosa Humor Festival on Thursday, an ice sculpture by (of?) Donald Trump was unveiled. The work "Glutaeus Maximus" (the largest buttock) shows a portrait remotely pointing to the future US president over a bareback". (courtesy of Google Translation)

Maybe The Donald is just too "left wing" for the Liechtensteiners? Whistling nnocently

Amen to that. When I see him climb into that over technical dustbin to be blasted into space it gives me shudders.

The mother of Mick Jagger's eighth child:

Hopefully any tax that hasn't been paid means he won't be claiming child benefit.

Fleet Street are gushing over A A Gill :
"His wit was incomparable, his writing was dazzling and fearless, his intelligence was matched by compassion."

Not much compassion for baboons though.

He came across as an absolute twat.
But, sorry for his family and all that of course. And much too young to go.

What's this crap about Theresa May's trousers? Let's face it, her dress sense is crap - old woman wearing dresses slit up to her arse! Best to ignore it all but she seems to be hypersensitive.
