Pub name

I put a question up here a while ago for a road name and I got lots of ideas and suggestions.

I'm currently working on a sitcom and wanted a strange Pub name. I came up with the following compiled from a couple of web sites. What do you think?

Swan & Monocle
The Coy Carp
The Scruffy Beaver
Fawcett Inn
Accountant & Fiddle
The Politically Correct Comedian
The Beaver's Lair
Pandora's Box
High Potanuse
The Dogger Bite
The Shepherd Spy
The Wrinkled Badger

I like the first one best, or possibly amended to The Monocled Swan.

What sort of area is it in Chappers? Who are the clientele? That might make a difference.

The Eerie Noseflute.
The Mackerel Sky.
The Charming Man.
The Hedgecrawler Arms.
The Gin and Another Gin and Another Gin.
Widerpoops.
The Twelve Million Stars.

The Falling Sun
The Pink Elephant
The Ragged Rat
The Brewers Yeast
The Walk-in Watermill

I guess that you cannot use any of these:

The Swinging Knacker
The Crackpot and Whistle
The Corn Dolly Arms
The Stuffed Pigeon
The Red Herring
The Haunted Eyebath

A pub name needs to sound plausible. The Haunted Eyebath and Eerie Noseflute don't sound like real boozers. Please don't use Fawcett Inn.

I forgot I'd started this.

I'm still working on this although my co-writer seems to be otherwise occupied for the last few months.

No Godot. It will be realistic. I still haven't come to a decision as it doesn't matter at the moment. It just needs to be something a bit edgy rather than the White Hart, Red Lion or Queens Arms.

Lots of Dirty Dicks there.

I do though like "The Jolly Taxpayer!"
