Numbers of active members are still very low I think. I see there was an advert for the forums on the BCG homepage yesterday pointing people in this direction. I hope it helps

No posts since 2.30 this afternoon? Only about 35 since Monday. I'm not the most pessimistic poster on here but that is dire and very sad.

Yes, the number of posts per day has fallen at an alarming rate over the last two or three weeks. The decline has started about two years ago but what's going on at the moment is really worrying.
Where are the people who claimed to like the board's new look for instance?
I think the problem is now the new site is so damned good looking people are actually reading stuff on the home pages and forgetting that they should be making their way directly to the forums.
Someone hide the BCG makeup box, quick.
If they are dying off then it's natural wastage I guess. Dad's jeans.
Like the Forum cinema I used to frequent for Saturday morning cinema, two films and two cartoons for 25p total bargain, they are being bulldozed to make way for office blocks
Sad times for the forums, but it's been in decline for years.
Many of the old members have simply moved on in life and, what with forums losing popularity in general, there hasn't been a new guard coming through. It's exactly what happened with chatrooms about 10 - 12 years ago.
I can't see the BCG forums being closed down anytime soon though.
The BCG forums will live on forever! Or maybe the next couple of weeks anyway.. 
I miss the olden days when I was on here all day, but only in work hours, and never at weekends. I miss the old gang, the Ellies, the ... the other people. The new format hasn't helped either, but I guess sooner or later everything dies.
