Just for Laughs BBC Prank Show

Does anyone else remember this? It ran from 2003-2007. I personally found it really funny , it was silent and had hidden cameras as it played pranks on members of the public. Cool

Yeah, some really inventive setups in it.

It was actually an international format bought by the BBC (so 'foreign' technically, hence why it's not on this site) - much of it filmed in Ireland I think. The international aspect is part of the reason it's silent, so it works in all the countries it's screened in (works much better being silent anyway though of course)

The same team recently made 'Just Kidding', which screened on CBBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/shows/just-kidding

I remember this show! It was awful.

Of course, I am a huge fan of this show. It has great amount of humor in each episode. Sometimes I still watch it on their official YouTube channel. Yes they are active there; they upload fresh videos every week. One amazing fact related to JFL is that they have dozens of versions, including of some Asian countries.

Their each prank is laughable, but I think this one is the best (I found): http://www.prankhits.com/funniest-dance-prank-suspect-turn-into-a-belly-dancer/

Yes, I have checked "Just Kidding" recently; it looks like a lighter version of Just for Laughs Gags.
Moreover, while my research on it, I found JFL is originally a comedy festival which expended as a Television Show by "Gags" added in the name in year 2000, correct?

Looks like a scene from Carry On Up The Khyber.

Yes, Just For Laughs is a major comedy festival in Canada. The TV series was inspired by or spun-off from that in some form.
