no, just came accross the clip and thought it was funny so posted here
Amusing maybe.
He seemed to be doing a poor impersonation of Lee Evans.

Impossible, the man is a comedy pariah and about as funny as a wet weekend on Wigan pier.
You sometimes wonder if its the person in question who starts these threads.
You don't think.........no..........it's not David Smith back........?
In Russel Howard's defence he can be irritating on TV but I've seen him in person a few times and I can report that when the cameras aren't on him he is hilarious.
I've seen him in the Tabard theatre in Chiswick play to a room of about 80 people for a run through of his show and he was brilliant.
I've also seen him record five or six episodes of Good News (including the one where he broke his hand) and between filming, again, he's really really funny but as soon as he knows the cameras are rolling it's like he tries to hard to get laughs and everything seems forced.
Considering he's very much a TV comic it doesn't bode well for a long term career.
I think he seems to be a genuinely nice bloke.

Nah, I doubt the professionals need to come and post on a fairly obscure forum to generate some interest in their work.

Well he's been popping up on TV for about a decade now, so don't think he's doing too bad in the career stakes.

That's as maybe, but it doesn't make him a comedian.........which he ain't.
