Sadly, there are no Danes in this competition. :D

I know. Eriksen & co would have taken it to another level. ;)

What a nicely creative start from ITV - a stage in Rediffusion grey, incomprehensible guests, a tennis player on an excruciatingly mind-altering substance and the picture totally going off during the can can can women. Well done!

Wish I'd got back earlier for the opening ceremony now. Which tennis player? (Or were you fantasising about Garbine again?) :D

Payet caps his Man Of The Match performance with a glorious winner!

It was Marion Bartoli and you did very well to miss it.

Garbine would have been absolutely ideal - a natural broadcaster, knowledgeable, sophisticated, chic and always employing a subtle sensuality. It would have been a perfect opportunity too for her to show how well suited she will be following her fifteen Wimbledon victories for the role of Secretary General of the United Nations.

Anyhow, congratulations to Zooo at the end of day one for putting in a reasonable performance in one of the prizes. As far as the other one is concerned - the one based on points - Zooo is also first on 7 points and I am second on 5. That's 5 points for any team who scores in a match, 2 points for a win (and 1 point for a draw).

ITV are f**king shit at presenting sport - if I had my way they would be banned from going anywhere near it.

When he's chewing, Chris Coleman's mouth movements are pure Wallace and Gromit.

Cool

"...I hope the Russians love their Children too..."

Now - to continue watching Titanic or switch over to the footie...hmmm.

Goal!

Ha! 1-1!

Are you sure you're not Welsh? :)

He should have brought Vardy on when we went 1-0. Would have killed the game. In fact he should have had Vardy on from the start instead of Sterling. Runs like a girl and the final ball from him wasn't there most of the time.

And now I'm going to have to listen to that cretin Ian Wright mumblef**k in the post match analysis. Just listen to him Pirate Pirate Angry Angry Angry

And now ITV have got a girl and Glen Hoddle talking shite.

Oh. :(

I don't know what to do Will Cam to cheer you and us up other than to give you a team share. The Blue Nun is kind. I'm sure that she would be happy to go 50/50 with you on Wales.

Commiserations to keewik for failing to achieve a win for her England team and well done to Don Rushmore for achieving with Russia something significant from absolutely nothing.

As an England and Hodgson fan, I'm gutted because for once I feel that we played extremely well. Actually I thought Sterling tried very hard and feel Smalling and Milner were the weak links. I don't think Kane should take corners, though, as he really needs to be beside the goal doesn't he.

Ah somethings never change

England are shit

and England fans are behaving like a bunch of thick, gormless f**kin cretins

Yay!

I was happy for Wales this afternoon. I agree with you that Kane shouldn't take corners. We will have to agree to disagree about Sterling.

PS. Don't forget I am an old curmudgeon.
