I knew what you were getting at and, yes, that is the autobiography that he was working on. It covers his memories of being abused as a young child.
Townshend had a very engaging presence on the Internet back in those days and he was publishing blogs and short stories about the dangers of child pornography and abuse long before he was arrested. In fact he contacted a child abuse charity as soon as he actually saw an item of child porn online and although they initially refuted this claim after his arrest, they eventually uncovered a record of the call/email and apologized.
He was cleared after his arrest and no child porniography was found on any of his computers. Later investigations have shown that although he admitted to seeing a couple of instances of child pornography during his research, the site where he entered a credit card number actually had only "regular" porn, so he confessed and was arrested for no good reason.
