Going Forward

Did anyone else catch this new Getting On spin off the other night? I rather liked it, Jo Brand's great as always, and the supporting characters are good too. I will say I didn't laugh out loud much, but then it's not that kind of programme.

I've decided to let this pass by. If people talk about it in praise then I may go back and check it out.

Yes, not laugh out loud - just a pleasant half hour as Jo is always worth watching in whatever she is in for me.

I've now watched the series and agree with HGT that, although it wasn't laugh-out-loud hilarious, it was indeed incredibly poignant and the humour was as black as coal. We were going through a very similar situation ourselves last year and it was good to keep a wry smile on our faces throughout.
