Epitaphs

As I felt the general mood needed lifting a tad . . .

. . . and having been known for my infamous, legendary dinner parties, and as the host, one has to keep a certain momentum going - so on the rare occasion that there was a nano second of silence, instead of resorting to clichés like "what famous people would you have round your table" (yawn) or "if you could be an animal" (instant narcolepsy) I would instead ask what they would like their epitaph to say.

After having to make new friends each time, one of the only remaining ones said to me randomly "you know how you say - 'what was THAT all about?' all the time? That could be your epitaph".

She was spot on, as most of life's events are bewildering to me, but what might yours be?

Anyone? Where did everybody go . . . but I haven't served dessert yet . . . :(
