I've probably run a total of 1 marathon over my whole life.

I've probably eaten at least 1,000 Marathons.

(I still prefer their old name, and think of them as such. Gordon, they changed their name to Snickers.)

Ha! Jimmy Carr will do a gig in my hometown!

Run it?

I didn't finish the marathon. I had to stop the run after 23 kilometers because of my muscular problems. Better luck next time.

Fortune favours the brave! Well done Gordon on making the effort, and hope the muscles are behaving themselves and not giving you too much jip.

I was on the South Bank yesterday afternoon watching snippets of Shakespeare on several big screens. Quite a nice set of teasers and I spotted lots of Comedy actors in various exotic locations.

Thank you!

You must be lauded, but truly, I believe the only good exercise is walking (took my eyes off this for a moment and it changed to 'stalking'!)

The Sky is light and I believe summer is coming at last.

Thank you!

Most people would think that 23 miles is 22 and three quarter miles above fitness. :)

I'm (almost) back to full strength now. Last Thursday night I suffered an unprecedented Tonic Clonic/Grand Mal seizure and ended up being taken to A&E by ambalance. I may not longer have my driving licence, but I have, however, retained my sense of humour.

Sounds nasty. Take it easy - plenty of Vintage TV maybe. :)

Oops, I was about to shitstorm you for not posting here for a certain time. I'm glad didn't do it. All the best and get well soon, mother superior. As George already said, vintageTV/classic comedy is the best thing to relax and put a smile on your face.

Oww. Poor BlueNun. Console

In this instance I meant the music channel with 1980s stuff on heavy rotation, and wall-to-wall Kate Bush. :D
