Hello,
My name is James and I'm looking for comedy writers to collaborate with on a new YouTube channel I've recently set up.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBQtXnFY3LRMsGUtt4YtMBQ
Episode 1: https://youtu.be/7w3Pu3jJpxQ Episode 2: https://youtu.be/gTamVZTCXS8 Episode 3: https://youtu.be/MCQngv-blQk Episode 4: https://youtu.be/nj9pgHrNKpY Episode 5: Coming tomorrow...
The channel is based around a Doctor called Dr. B.J. Softcock and the channel is called The Examination Table. I've only just started this journey (last week) but already, after 4/5 videos, I'm looking to network with likeminded people in the industry. I'm currently writing, performing and editing each episode in 48 hours. The first day is simply about finding the idea and writing the script and day 2 is filming and editing (which is taking the most amount of time). I love all three elements of the process but feel I could be getting ahead of the game if I had one or two close comedy contacts who were willing to write with me.
I don't have anyone to bounce ideas off and think it would be great if someone could listen to my ideas and say Yes/No or Maybe.
There is obviously no monetary benefit...at this stage but who knows what will happen in the future. If the channel is good enough it will generate money and when it does I'll be able to pay a percentage of each successful script to the writer or writers...but that is a long way off so I just want to be upfront.
If you're interested in writing some medical gags, jokes and scripts based on the character and channel then please let me know.
Cheers,
James
