Another one bites the dust and a bit of a one hit wonder, but a classic nonetheless.

Billy Paul RIP
Only heard of him about 9 months ago when I found the album Going East in a bargain bin. Terrific record.
RIP
Does it have his hit "Me and Mrs.Jones" on it?..........Just had a thought - Rigsby should have recorded it.

Unfortunately no.
"Me and Mrs Jones" is a very special song for me because it was a hit when I went on my first proper holiday. It was on a farm in Wales and I had a holiday romance with the farm workers wife. She was Mrs Jones. She was fifty and I had just turned nine. She knew everything about love and I didn't know anything. To cut a long story short I used to sing to her "Amazing Grace" - the bagpipe version with elaborate drones - near to the paisley cows in the milking parlour. She gave me cuff links with my initials on in case any of my shirts lost their buttons.

Aw,you poor wee soul
Thank you but I am not sure I see it in that way.
It was just an extension of singing on sacks of potatoes at the greengrocers.
