I'm trying to compile a list of animals in British sitcoms, more specifically sitcom pets, for example Duke the Great Dane from Only Fools and Horses.

The Cat, The Elder Cat and the parallel universe's The Dog from Red Dwarf are playing animals within the narrative, if that counts.
If so, then there was a show a few years back about Frodo Baggins who could see his dog as a human being dressed as a dog.
All humans would count too.
